Featuring the discerning Barker range, promising the highest quality to last a lifetime, the store also offers ranges from Cushe, Frank Wright, Hush Puppies and Geox. Lynsey Bates, Unique Soles Manager, commented: “We are delighted to open our first ever store in Burton. Coopers Square is a very busy shopping centre in the heart of the town with a fantastic range of visitors, as our first days of trading proved. “The feedback from customers has also been really positive. It seems we are already on our way to impressing the Burton community with our extensive ranges and specialist children’s footwear service, eliminating the need for families to travel quite so far afield. We hope anyone who has not popped in to see us yet takes the opportunity to do so over our Grand Opening weekend.” Dave Chadfield, Coopers Square Centre Manager, said: “Coopers Square is delighted to welcome not only another new store to our shopping centre but a brand new independent trader to Burton. In these times it’s encouraging to see local businesses thrive and the sole traders located in Coopers Square add an important and unique offer to the shopping centre’s variety of stores. “I hope all our shoppers take time out to visit Unique Soles and give them a warm welcome to Burton, and I wish the team every success for many years to come.” -Ends- Notes to Editors In 1999, the Coopers Square shopping centre was acquired by Grosvenor – the leading international property development, investment and management group – for its Grosvenor Shopping Centre Fund.
