Poole, Dorset – Monday, June 21, 2010; Two iconic star cars from the movie screen gave Dads a Father’s Day with a difference at the Dolphin Shopping Centre on Sunday.
The unusual sight of a rare replica DeLorean displayed pride of place on the Main Mall greeted Father’s Day Dolphin Shopping Centre visitors, giving Dads the chance to go Back to the Future in honour of the 25th anniversary of the epic 1980s film. Even the ‘Doc’, Brian O’Neill, armed with the Back to the Future brain scanner was on hand to chat to interested shoppers. Perhaps many a Dad’s ideal Father’s Day gift, KITT – the Knight Rider Trans Am original – also proved a hit with all the family. Its showcase on Kingland Crescent allowed people to admire at close quarters the exceptional replica complete with a fully loaded front scanner and impressive interior and dashboard.
