Poole, Dorset – Thursday 19 November, 2009; The Dolphin Shopping Centre hopes to help ease some of the Christmas shopping stress with the start of late night shopping every Thursday until Christmas Eve. With the arrival of two new stores within the last few weeks, the Dolphin Shopping Centre offers an even better choice of shops open until 9pm.

The Fragrance Shop, situated opposite Beales, opened its doors just in time to welcome Santa to his Dolphin Shopping Centre grotto last weekend. To celebrate the store’s official launch on Saturday 21 November, the first man and woman through The Fragrance Shop doors will each receive a free designer fragrance and the first 100 customers will receive a goody bag packed full of fragrance samples, discount coupons and other treats. Customers can also take advantage of up to 60% off a great selection of top fragrances. Boasting over 100 outlets nationwide, The Fragrance Shop in Poole will offer customers a huge range of amazing value gift sets and monthly special offers on a huge range of designer fragrances. Creating five new jobs in Poole, The Fragrance Shop has joined the Dolphin Shopping Centre on a permanent basis with the main aim of opening for the Christmas trading period. However, an exciting full shop refurbishment is scheduled for January, promising a glittering new store. Poole Manager Alli Wallis commented: “It’s fantastic to open The Fragrance Shop’s latest store in a prime location like the Dolphin Shopping Centre. We’ve been delighted with the positive response already received from shoppers which, together with our strong first week sales, would suggest this is going to be a very busy shop. I hope visitors will pop by to share in our launch celebrations this weekend and continue to take advantage of the fantastic special offers in-store as Christmas looms around the corner.” Louise Smith, Dolphin Shopping Centre Marketing Manager, said: “The Fragrance Shop is a great, permanent, addition to the centre. The opening of the new store is perfectly timed for the start of the Dolphin Shopping Centre’s late night shopping events, offering even more choice this Christmas.” The Christmas Shop, located next to Marks & Spencer, recently joined the Dolphin Shopping Centre just for the festive season, offering seasonal decorations at affordable prices. With over 110 stores offering an array of high street names and quality independent traders, located on the Gallery Level, the Dolphin Shopping Centre could be the answer to completing your Christmas shopping mission in one easy trip. From the best in children’s toys and entertainment to the latest high street fashions, gadgets and technology, designer jewellery and perfumes, you can find a gift for all the family. To celebrate late night shopping, Santa’s grotto will be open from 12pm to 8pm on Thursdays and from 12pm to 5pm Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 5pm on Saturdays and 11am to 4pm on Sundays throughout December.
