Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire – Wednesday, May 26, 2010; Children’s TV favourite, Dora the Explorer, is set for a special adventure with her fans around Coopers Square, on Wednesday, June 2, offering free fun for families this half term.

The rather clever seven year-old bilingual Latino girl from Nick Jnr. TV fame will be returning to the Burton upon Trent shopping centre for the first time in over 18 months. Fresh from her latest adventures, Dora will be meeting fans during appearances throughout Coopers Square at 11am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm. Dave Chadfield, Coopers Square Centre Manager, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Dora the Explorer back to Coopers Square in perfect time for the half-term holiday. “Dora first visited the centre in November 2008 and was so thrilled to meet so many new friends that she has requested a return trip. Dora’s been very busy since then but I know she is really looking forward to meeting more fans on her next expedition to Coopers Square.” While visiting Dora, fans shouldn’t forget to also check out the official Dora the Explorer merchandise available in some Coopers Square stores. Waterstones stock a range of Dora the Explorer books while a selection of toiletries and bath time toys can be also be found in Boots.
