Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire – Wednesday, June 9, 2010; Coopers Square shopping centre will help visitors step into summer with confidence on Saturday, June 19, with its unique styling event. Fashion on the Move will give an insight into the season’s hottest trends, with free expert advice and particular focus on men’s fashions for the Father’s Day weekend.

Fun florals are the way forward this season with an array of colours and options, from maxi dresses to blouses, while frills flattering for all shapes and elegant soft tailoring are also firm favourites. Some bold floral influences filter through to men’s beachwear, but it’s all about crisp whites and neutrals this summer. Classic tailoring in the form of the timeless linen suit or smart shorts also help achieve this year’s simple, snappy and stylish look for men. Accessorize, Bank, BHS, Peacocks, Marks & Spencer, Millets, Monsoon, Moss, Peacocks, Primark, Topshop/Topman, Unique Soles, and Quiz are just some of the stores joining forces for Fashion on the Move 2010, presenting an unrivalled selection of men’s, women’s and children’s wear. Shoppers can get a close-up view of the latest collections complete with top tips from a professional stylist in the interactive 30-minute performances taking place on three platforms throughout the malls at 11am, 12pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm. Pampering and food sampling pods will also offer free tips, trials and tasty treats courtesy of the Body Shop, Boots, the Fragrance Shop, Thorntons and Patisserie Valerie. With Father’s Day following on Sunday, the event will also help inspire shoppers to find a special gift that will help Dad look and feel like one in a million. Over half the stores supporting this year’s event will feature men’s fashions ensuring each performance offers top tips on everything from occasion wear to classy casuals for men and boys.
