Silverstone, Northamptonshire – Monday, November 22, 2010; ZipKart, arguably the most successful British kart manufacturers, will once again have a presence at Autosport International, held at the NEC Birmingham from 13-16 January 2011, offering expert advice to young racing hopefuls looking to take the first step on the karting ladder.

Boasting over 46 years of World Champion pedigree experience, ZipKart should be your first pit stop of the 2011 season. Showcasing from the Grand Prix Racewear feature stand, number 6220 in Hall 6, you’ll find everything you need to get on-track. The Zip Bambino, especially developed for five to eight year-olds and used in karting academies across the UK such as Buckmore Park, will be on display with information and unsurpassed personal service to help young drivers get ready for their first racing season. As well as only the best equipment on the market, top karting tutors and the coaching force behind the Zip Young Guns team, and drivers such as Junior World Champion Jake Dennis, will also be on-hand. Sportscar ace Luke Hines, the former British GT and BTCC Production Champion who made a sensational American Le Mans Series GTC class debut in 2010, and Terry Fullerton will be available to explain the benefits of one-to-one tuition. Jake Dennis will also be at the show on Saturday and Sunday. ZipKart founder, the original ‘Karting Guru’, Martin Hines will be in attendance to chat to visitors while the triple World, five-time European and six-time British kart champion will also be available to sign copies of his autobiography, Every Split Second Counts.
