HC FORKLIFT UK REVEALS UPDATED TRUCK RANGE AT EXCLUSIVE DEALER EVENT
HC Forklifts UK revealed its enhanced range of diesel and gas-powered forklift trucks, plus a complete line of warehouse equipment, at its annual dealer conference at the Rockingham Race Circuit in Corby on Thursday (27 March).
The company’s network of strategic partners was the first to hear about the latest additions to HC Forklift UK’s portfolio – including the updated XF series, which now features heavy duty counterbalance machines ranging from 5-7 tonnes at a 600mm load centre. The complete range is made up of trucks with lifting capabilities from 1-7 tonnes. The 5-7 tonners are available in diesel and LPG models.
The new energy efficient trucks are fitted with a number of enhanced features to ensure safer working, including an automatic parking brake and a revised seat position to provide the driver with a better line of sight. The driver also enjoys a more comfortable ride thanks to a rubber absorber fitted to the steering axle to reduce vibration.
The company’s updated 12-16 tonne R series trucks, which have a 600mm load centre, were also revealed. These are designed for high productivity, working in demanding environments and feature a range of innovative designs including a large capacity radiator, which improves the ventilation capacity of the truck and guarantees a reliable performance from the engine cooling system.
The machines, which are manufactured in China, are equipped with Cummins engines and Okamura transmissions, running gear which is well proven within the lift truck environment.
Terry Kendrew, who heads the South African parent company Eqstra Holding’s operations in the UK, says: “Our comprehensive range of materials handling equipment has been designed to provide our customers with the right machine at a competitive price.
