In connection to the International Yoga Day: HCL Celebrates the Spirit of Yoga in Norway
Oslo, June 21: HCL Technologies (HCL), a leading global IT services company, in association with the Embassy of India Oslo, Norway will be celebrating the third annual International Yoga Day by welcoming people to try a unique Yoga experience on June 24th in Oslo, Norway.
The International Day of Yoga is officially celebrated on June 21 and aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga. The theme for the 2017 celebration is 'Yoga for Health', highlighting the fact that yoga can contribute in a holistic way to achieving an equilibrium between mind and body.
The event in Norway takes place on June 24th from 10.00-13.00 CET at the Norwegian School of Sport Science at Sognsveien 220. It is free of charge.
Yoga is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India. The word ‘yoga’ derives from Sanskrit and means to join or to unite, symbolizing the union of body and consciousness. Today it is practiced in various forms around the world and continues to grow in popularity.
