THE ROUTES
GRAND PARCOURS, JULY 10, 2016
The Grand Parcours is the Big One, the toughest route of the High Trail Vanoise. First up is the 3653m summit of the Grande Motte– and that’s just for starters. The highly technical 67km trail covers 5400 vertical metres with some extraordinary scenery such as the Grande Sassière and the Vallée Perdue.

PETIT PARCOURS, JULY 10, 2016
Don’t be fooled by the ‘little’ in the title. This is still very much the real McCoy, 39km with 3200m of vertical. Spectacular sections include the Grande Sassière Nature Reserve, the Grand Pissaillas glacier, the 3386m ascent of Aiguille Pers, and the original route of the Lessières tunnel.
Start time: 8.30am
Entry fee: 36€ until April 29, then 40€ until closing date of July 4, 2016.
LES BALCONS DE VAL D’ISÈRE, JULY 9, 2016
This is a gentler route of 18km with 1300m of vertical. It takes you through the hamlet of Le Fornet and on up to the lac de l’Ouillette, a picturesque spot on Solaise. It’s a chance to explore some truly magnificent scenery around Val d’Isère itself.
Start time: 9.30am
Entry fee: 20€ until April 29, then 25€ until closing date of July 4, 2016.
