Hedin Mobility Group acquires alloy wheel specialist RRT

The leading European mobility provider further invests in circular business activities through the acquisition of UK-based alloy wheel refurbishment specialist RRT.

Hedin Mobility Group has acquired all shares in RRT (UK) Ltd. Transfer of business was on November 30, 2023.

RRT specialises in alloy wheel refurbishment services, including painting and OEM finishing, to a broad range of business customers at a pan-European level. Located in Luton, the company operates its business at bespoke facilities totalling 1,300 m2 which include an automated pre-treatment and paint plant, the likes of which is unparalleled in the UK, and state-of-the-art equipment to repair and finish alloy wheels. RRT (UK) Ltd maintains an effective quality management system based upon requirements of ISO 9001.

RRT processes in excess of 20,000 wheels annually. The team is comprised of 13 skilled employees dedicated to delivering the very highest quality and providing customers with a fast turn-around service.

Through the acquisition of RRT, Hedin Mobility Group continues to grow in the UK, where the group has established an automotive retailer presence in 2023, representing Mercedes-Benz, smart, BMW and MINI with a total of 14 sales points and 9 workshops.
