Leadership changes in two of Hedin Mobility Group’s subsidiaries
Mölndal, 27 February 2025 – On 1 March, changes will take place in the leadership of Hedin Nordic Truck and Hedin Motor Company, as two new CEOs assume their roles.
John Hurtig will take on the role of CEO for Hedin Nordic Truck, leading the company’s operations in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland. He succeeds Håkan Jönsson, who is leaving Hedin Mobility Group. John Hurtig joins from Hedin Motor Company, the group’s Ford distribution business in Sweden, where he has served as CEO for nearly four years.
At the same time, Raine Wermelin has been appointed as the new CEO of Hedin HMC Motor Company AB. He most recently held the position of COO for Hedin Automotive Bavaria, where he was responsible for Hedin Mobility Group’s BMW business in Sweden, Norway, and Finland.
Both John Hurtig and Raine Wermelin bring extensive experience from senior positions in the automotive industry, both within and prior to their time at Hedin Mobility Group.
Anders Hedin, CEO of Hedin Mobility Group, is highly satisfied with the new appointments:
"Both John Hurtig and Raine Wermelin have demonstrated strong business results during their years within Hedin Mobility Group. We are operating in a challenging time for the industry, where strong leadership is crucial to driving growth and strengthening our customer offering.
