MÖLNDAL, 4 June 2024 - Since the launch of Hedin Auction in 2019, the auction website has grown rapidly in the market. As Hedin Mobility Group continues to build and develop the Carstore brand as the group’s dedicated used car business, the auction site is now being rebranding to Carstore Auction.

Carstore Auction offers a wide range of used vehicles from several car brands available for bidding. The website targets both small and large car dealerships. The updated website is built on a new platform with additional functionalities and enhanced design, offering a safe and easy environment to trade vehicles. Developed by Hedin IT, the new platform marks the starting point for a planned launch into Europe. Initially, the website will be launched in Sweden and Norway, with all auction cars also displayed on a common EU site.

With the new website, Carstore is laying the foundation to grow and offer its services to broader audiences across Europe, while continuing to focus on improving and developing functionality based on customer needs. The vision is to create a leading marketplace for vehicle auctions in Europe.

Our vision with Carstore Auction is to create a simple and reliable website for auctions in Europe,” says Peter Lampret, CEO of Carstore. “We have listened to our customers and are happy to be able to offer our services to a wider audience. We have developed the website internally within Hedin Mobility Group and we will continue to invest in developing functionality and performance over the coming year.”

The common EU site will serve as a central hub for all auctions within Europe, giving users access to a larger range of vehicles and more opportunities to do business across borders. “We are confident that Carstore Auction will strengthen our position in the market and offer our customers even greater value,” concludes Lampret.
