Heimstaden Bostad Buys 10% of Kojamo

Heimstaden Bostad has today bought 13,442,000 shares in the listed Finnish residential company, bringing total ownership to 10%.

Kojamo Oyj is the largest private real estate company in Finland with more than 36,000 homes and a property portfolio valued at EUR 7.5 billion as of Q2 2021.

“Kojamo is a value-driven company with strong ESG and customer focus and a proven ability to develop and operate a large number of homes through many years. We see this as an attractive investment that increases our exposure to the Finnish residential market,” said Christian Fladeland, Co-CIO at Heimstaden.
