Heimstaden Bostad Divests 32 Residential Properties in Czechia

Heimstaden Bostad has successfully divested 32 non-strategic residential properties with a total of 581 units in the Moravia-Silesia region in Czechia. The total transaction value is EUR 40 million. The first of the two divestments was finalised in December 2024, while the closing process for the second transaction was completed on 26 February 2025.

The sales are part of Heimstaden Bostad’s targeted measures to improve its credit metrics through both unit-by-unit privatisations and selective portfolio transactions, following the announced sales in Denmark and Sweden in recent months. The transaction terms reflected attractive premiums to book values.

Christian Fladeland, Co-CEO of Heimstaden Bostad, comments on the transactions:

"The sale of these non-strategic assets from our Czech portfolio builds on our continuous efforts to optimise our portfolio and create value for our owners. Furthermore, it supports our deleveraging strategy and addresses the strong demand for residential properties across our markets."
