Heimstaden, a leading Swedish residential real estate company with operations in Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Germany and the Czech Republic, launches a Community Manager program to address involuntary loneliness and increase life quality and wellbeing through personal meetings. The program is part of the concept "Heimvaro - Conscious Presence".

- “Digitalization offers many solutions that simplifies our lives and enables a range of spaces for digital interaction. But we must remember the personal meeting, which has a great significance for the overall wellbeing and mental health in our lives. With our new Community Manager program, we want to address the importance of true presence,” says Karmen Mandic, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Heimstaden.

The focus is on inclusive and recurring meetings, either one-to-ones or group events. To meet the individual needs of the customers, the gatherings can range from individual meetings with a cup of coffee, urban gardening get-togethers, book circles and yoga sessions to BBQ garden events with live music. The goal is to create micro and macro networks with tenants, commercial owners, the municipality, and local NGOs that contribute to a more friendly neighborhood and community.

- “We continuously improve our customer experience by developing service with a clear sustainability focus that aligns with the evolving lifestyle of our customers”, says Karmen Mandic.

The program has started in three cities in Sweden; Helsingborg, Lund and Ystad with the aim to roll-out the program in all markets.
