Heimstaden Bostad acquires centrally located properties in Linköping
Heimstaden AB's subsidiary, Heimstaden Bostad AB, has acquired all shares in Von Dufva Fastighets AB, which is the owner of a portfolio consisting of twelve properties in Linköping, with 457 rental apartments and a total lettable area of approximately 31,500 square meters.
The centrally located portfolio also includes an elderly home, a preschool, a parking garage, and a few other commercial premises. The seller is Göran Magnusson and his family and Heimstaden Bostad AB will be the legal owner of the properties from 1 October 2020.
“These very centrally located and attractive apartments complement our previous holdings in Linköping and provides the opportunity to offer even more friendly and sustainable homes to customers in Linköping,” said Fredrik Årman, Head of Transactions at Heimstaden.
Heimstaden Bostad AB is already a large property owner in Linköping and will, after receiving legal ownership, manage a total of 1,644 apartments in the city. In addition, 109 rental apartments are under construction in Vallastaden.
