Heimstaden Increases Equity Commitment to Heimstaden Bostad to SEK 12.2 billion

On 26 September 2021 Heimstaden Bostad announced buying Akelius’ German, Swedish and Danish properties and a related SEK 24.8 billion equity raise, of which Heimstaden committed SEK 8.5 billion.

Heimstaden has decided to increase its equity injection by SEK 3.7 billion, bringing the total investment to SEK 12.2 billion. The investment will be financed with SEK 8.2 billion in cash at hand and a committed 2-year bridge financing facility.
