Our comments based on information at hand:
- The issue appears to involve potential breaches of law or Alecta’s internal rules by one or more persons that may also constitute a legal offense. Alecta has engaged two external law firms to review this matter and on the basis thereof, the Board of Alecta concluded not to pursue a case.
- This matter does not directly affect Heimstaden Bostad AB or Heimstaden AB – nor does it relate to improper conduct by any of these companies or its employees.
- We have a zero-tolerance for any form of corruption as enforced through our Code of Conduct and Anti-Corruption Policy.
We are taking the situation seriously and will assist relevant authorities upon their request.
