Helen’s Farm – Eastbrook on the North Wiltshire Downs

Helen is passionate about her pigs and ensures they have the best possible environment, which is reliant on healthy soil rather than pesticides and fertilisers.

There are over 2,000 pigs living at Eastbrook Farm, and the breeding herd are pure British Saddlebacks crossed with a large White boar. Visitors are welcome to walk the farm at any time.

Michelin-recommended pub and restaurant

Helen’s pub, The Royal Oak, is situated in the middle of the farm. Organic meat and milk is from Eastbrook Farm, with vegetables being sourced locally. Recommended by: Good Food Guide, Good Pub Guide, Michelin Good Food in Pubs 2009-2015; Alastair Sawdays Special Places – Gold Award winner.

Healthy balanced diet

A healthy diet is all about moderation. Meat should be eaten as part of a balanced healthy diet with the emphasis on quality rather than quantity. Red meat is a major source of iron, zinc and vitamin B12.
