Johan Ekberg appointed Acting CEO of Ebbot

Stockholm, January 20, 2026 – Ebbot has appointed a new CEO to lead the company into a phase defined by commercialization and international growth. Johan Ekberg succeeds co-founder Anders Clarin, who has served as CEO since Ebbot was founded in early 2018 and has led the company to its current position in the market.

The Board has appointed Johan Ekberg as Acting CEO with the mandate to drive Ebbot’s continued commercialization and international expansion. Johan is the founder of the Nordic broadband operator Ownit and has been involved in Ebbot since its inception, as an investor, Board member, and in operational roles. This background gives him a deep understanding of the company, the market, and customer needs.
