AK‐Service Ltd opens their first European office in Helsinki

Russia’s market leader of onboard service products, AK-Service Ltd, has opened their first European office in Helsinki, Finland.

AK‐Service Ltd registered in Finland under the name Sky Life Ltd. in January 2015 and is currently looking to hire Finnish sales people to work for their new office in Helsinki. AK‐Service is the biggest manufacturer and supplier of travel amenity kits and travel accessories in Russia and the CIS‐countries.

“Our plan is to expand our sales first in Finland and then enter the European markets. The new office will be our main sales channel to Europe. We are very fond of Finnish designers and their work, and wish to collaborate with them,” says Alexander Ferents, the CEO of AK-Service Ltd.

Clients of AK‐Service include the leading transportation companies in Russia and in the CIS, such as Aeroflot, Transaero, Air Astana and Russian Railways. Company is headquartered in St. Petersburg where they also have production facility and a design studio. They currently employ 180 people.

AK‐Service was one of the ten finalists of the Finlanding competition organized in spring 2014. Finlanding is the first business competition for Russian high-tech companies interested in entering the European market through Finland.
