Hemfosa awarded land allocation in Falun and initiates school projects in Southern Stockholm, Norrköping and Eskilstuna

Hemfosa has been awarded a land allocation for a property block in central Falun and is planning a new build comprising approximately 15,000 square meters ideal for community service operations and public-sector offices. Hemfosa is also increasing the pace of its project operations with the initiation of three school projects, in Southern Stockholm, Norrköping and Eskilstuna, investing a total of some MSEK 400.

Land allocation in Falun
The Rödbro property block is centrally located in Falun, close to communication links, and the new build of the Brorslotten property forms part of the urban development of Falun. The property is suitable to house premises for care services and public-sector offices. The total floor space will amount to approximately 15,000 square meters.

“I think this will be a great addition to the town of Falun,” says Magnus Fridsén, Urban Development Manager, Falu Municipality.

“The new Rödbro property block will be an exciting addition to Falun’s cityscape. The property features a contemporary design, incorporating cultural heritage influences,” says Joakim Storck, Local Council Member, Falu Municipality.

Project operations gain momentum
In addition to the above, Hemfosa has initiated three school projects: in Southern Stockholm, Norrköping and Eskilstuna. The investments total approximately MSEK 400. The property is Norrköping is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2020, the properties in Stockholm and Eskilstuna is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2021. Hemfosa’s project operations will thus gain real momentum.
