Hemfosa to prolong lease and build new premises for Alingsås District Court

Hemfosa is signing a 15-year lease with the National Courts Administration in Alingsås and will build an additional approximately 1,000 sqm of courtroom and office space. In connection with this, the existing offices and shared spaces will be customized and upgraded for the District Court, which is already a tenant in the property.

The project entails construction of a completely new building and the refurbishment of an existing building in order to create a larger number of, and more appropriate, premises for the District Court.

“The National Courts Administration is a major tenant for Hemfosa in our high-priority public properties segment, and we view engaging in close cooperation with the tenant in order to implement this project and thus create modern and functional premises for the District Court as something positive. Developing and customizing the property portfolio to satisfy tenant needs is a key feature of our property management focus,” says Jens Engwall, CEO of Hemfosa Fastigheter AB.
