The Separate listing of Hemköp shares denoted AkU in the VPC ("Swedish Securities Register Centre") ceases The last trading day for shares denoted AkU is Monday May 15, 2000 As of Monday May 22, shares previously denoted AkU are estimated to obtain the notation Ak in addition to being available on the shareholders' VP accounts The Separate listing of the shares of Hemköpskedjan AB (publ) that were issued in connection with the merger with D&D Dagligvaror AB during the Spring of 2000, and that are not entitled to receiving dividend for the financial year of 1999 (denoted AkU in the Swedish Securities Register Centre) ceases as soon as possible after the record day for dividend, which has been proposed to fall on Tuesday May 16, 2000, by the company's board of directors. Accordingly, the last trading day for shares with the dividend restriction (AkU) at OM Stockholm Stock Exchange will be Monday May 15, 2000. Holders of shares denoted AkU will not be able to trade these as from Tuesday May 16 up to and including Friday May 19, 2000. As of Monday May 22, shares previously denoted AkU are estimated to obtain the notation Ak in addition to being available on the shareholders' VP accounts.
