Hempel to host a webinar on Norsok Standard M-501 Changes and Updates

As offshore industries continuously seeks improvement to increase productivity, durability and extend asset lifetime, the Norsok standards have undergone revisions and updates. To better understand the latest updates to the NORSOK M-501 Standard for surface preparation and protective coating, Hempel experts Lars Thorslund Pedersen and Raquel Morales will host a webinar on the topic.

On Wednesday 12 April 2023 at 09:00 am CEST and 16:00 pm CEST, Lars Thorslund Pedersen, R&D Subject Matter Expert at Hempel and a permanent member of the standards board, and Raquel Morales, Specification Manager for Energy Solutions at Hempel, will provide an overview of NORSOK M-501, share technical information about new and updated systems, discuss new requirements for prequalification testing and present real-life performance case studies.

In this webinar, participants will learn about the latest changes from Edition 6 of NORSOK M-501 to Edition 7, which was updated in November 2022.
