HEAD ambassador Maria Sharapova clinched a hat-trick of trophies at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart as she stormed to a 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 win over Ana Ivanovic in the final of her first clay event of the pre-French Open campaign.

Sharapova, who uses the HEAD Graphene Instinct has now won the German title for the last three years and came from 1-6, 1-3 down, winning her 13th straight match on clay. Sharapova is the first to win three straight titles in Stuttgart since Martina Navratilova 1986 -1988.

Sharapova, who is currently ranked 9th in the WTA rankings, said,

"For the first half of the match I thought it might not be my day today, but somehow I turned it around. I had quite a slow beginning to the year, but together with my team I have been working hard to get in the position to win titles again, and I'm so happy to be able to do it in Stuttgart."

It was a one-two delivery for HEAD on the indoor clay as Roberta Vinci teamed with long-time partner Sara Errani for a 6-2, 6-3 defeat of Cara Black and Sania Mirza. Vinci's top-seeded team picked up their first title since the Australian Open.

In Bucharest on the clay of the Nastate-Tiriac Trophy, HEAD Racquet Rebel Robin Haase, who recommends the HEAD Graphene Prestige, put up a fight in his semi-final before going down to Lukas Rosol. The final-four showing was the best this season for Haase, ranked 50th and winner of two career titles on clay in Kitzbuehel in 2011 and 2012.

The Barcelona doubles final also featured HEAD in action, with Nenad Zimonjic missing out on a season-first clay title when the Serb and partner Daniel Nestor lost to Dutchman Jesse Huta Galung and Stephane Robert of France.
