heroal Supports Architects and Planners by Providing BIM Data

Verl, January 2019. In the future, the planning and realization of objects will be unthinkable without BIM. To support and assist architects and planners in their daily work using BIM, heroal already offers BIM data for heroal systems for download on a number of platforms.

BIM (Building Information Modeling) is an innovative and comprehensive digital working method focusing on process optimization and the integration of every trade involved throughout the entire life cycle of a building. BIM is has already become the new standard in a lot of countries, and, in the next few years, is expected to be required by public investors in Europe as well.

Building Information Modeling is based on a central, digital data pool which represents the joint basis for all cooperating members of a project team, laying the foundation for all decisions pertaining to the relevant working steps. The centralisation of data as well as a common, neutral data format increase the transparency of individual process steps, at the same time improving efficiency, quality and planning reliability. BIM also facilitates communication between the trades and general project controlling, which eventually leads to more cost certainty and an increased adherence to schedules.

heroal - Your Strong Partner for BIM

heroal already offers BIM data as free downloads for the majority of its windows, doors, curtain walls and sliding and lifting-sliding door systems as well as sun protection systems, facilitating architects’ and planners’ daily work. Data for further systems will be added shortly. All data is made available in the heroal Communicator, the online heroal business world, and on the platform BIMobject®. In preparing the data, heroal has paid special attention to create additional advantages for users. Hence the BIM data provided by heroal set new standards with regard to representation.
