Less than a year after the joint venture with Agility Fuel Systems was announced, Hexagon Composites' wholly owned subsidiary, Hexagon Lincoln, has produced its largest capacity and lightest weight vehicle tank to date. The new 27 in / 673 mm diameter tank is featured in Agility's state-of-the-art 160 DGE Behind-the-Cab compressed natural gas (CNG) system that was introduced at the Natural Gas Vehicle Conference and Expo in November 2014.

"Working together to bring product innovations to the market is a top objective of our joint venture and this new cylinder represents the first fruit of these efforts," said Chet Dawes, Vice President of CNG Automotive Products. "We are committed to continued innovation and highly-engineered solutions for the marketplace."

Hexagon Lincoln has received orders valued at approximately USD 7 million (approx. NOK 53 million) for the new tank and has begun delivery for fuel system orders for several Class 8 truck fleets.
