Hexagon Lincoln receives Business of the Year award from Nebraska Diplomats

Hexagon Composites wholly owned subsidiary Hexagon Lincoln has been recognized for fostering economic growth and development within the Lincoln community. The award acknowledges its corporate citizenship and philanthropy, as well.

Nebraska Diplomats, Inc. is one of the largest and most active economic development organizations in the state, with a membership of more than 280 business executives and community leaders who work in tandem with the Nebraska Department of Economic Development to further the growth and development of the state's economy. 

"We were honored to be nominated for this award by the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development," said Jack Schimenti, President of Hexagon Lincoln. "We are proud of the revenue we bring into the state of Nebraska, and are dedicated to creating jobs and using suppliers within our community."

The award was presented by Governor Dave Heineman at the annual awards dinner during Nebraska Diplomat's Passport Weekend on 5 September.

The Hexagon Lincoln division of Hexagon Composites is based in Lincoln, Nebraska. It has been filament winding composites for 50 years and producing Type 4 CNG tanks for 20 years.
