Important events in the Hexagon Composites Group since the previous interim report:
  • Lincoln Composites have been awarded a grant by the United States Department of Energy (DOE) for the development of containers for the efficient transport of hydrogen.
  • Devold AMT has won a large long-term contract to supply hybrid reinforcements (carbon/glass) to P.N. Rotor Energiesysteme GmbH.
  • Ragasco - a 10 year retest-interval for the Complet® LPG container has been established for the whole of Europe. This was previously 5 years and the new regulations greatly strengthen the product's competitiveness.
 
For the third quarter Hexagon Composites ASA reported a turnover of 194.0 MNOK (156.1) and an operating profit before depreciation/amortisation, EBITDA, of 24.8 MNOK (20.3) and an operating profit, EBIT, of 13.5 MNOK (10.7).
 
Ragasco delivered an operating profit of 8.2 MNOK (14.0) in the third quarter. In the high-pressure container business unit (Lincoln/Raufoss) an operating profit of 1.7 MNOK (0.5) was realised. Lincoln Composites reported a positive operating profit whilst Raufoss Fuel Systems reported a negative result. The composite reinforcement business unit (Devold AMT) reported an operating profit of 5.6 MNOK (-1.8).
