LINCOLN COMPOSITES selected as partner in Hydrogen Storage Center of Excellence

Hexagon Composites ASA (NO: HEX) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Lincoln Composites, Inc., has been selected by the United States Department of Energy (DOE) as one of the 10 partners for its new Hydrogen Storage Engineering Center of Excellence. The virtual center will run for approximately 5 years supporting America's Advanced Energy Initiative to reduce America's dependence on foreign energy sources by changing the way cars, homes and businesses are powered. The group of partners will address the engineering issues associated with developing hydrogen storage systems that will enable fuel cell vehicles to meet customer expectations for driving range and performance. The DOE grant for Lincoln's participation will be spread over three years.
