Frédéric Gaussen will have total sales and marketing responsibility for Ragasco's composite LPG containers. Gaussen has been Sales Director at REC Wafer for the past three years, responsible for China and Japan. Previous to this, he has had widespread international experience, including with the Lafarge Group of France. Gaussen has a degree in business administration from Ecole Supérieure de Gestion in Paris.

Stål Heggelund comes from the position of Executive Director at NORDSEE International in Germany. He has eight years international experience with the Norwegian Seafood Council (as it is now known) and has previously worked for Netaxept AS, Mogul Norway AS and Telenor. Heggelund is a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University in Montreal in Canada. Heggelund takes up the newly-created position of Director International Marketing and will be responsible for Ragasco's international marketing and distribution channels.

"Ragasco's composite containers have become the preferred lightweight solution for many leading gas distributors in a number of countries and I am convinced that an increasing number of LPG companies will wish to exploit the outstanding differentiation opportunities that our products give. The competitive advantages that our partners can gain from using Ragasco's containers will be communicated in a better and clearer manner. Stål will be assisting in this and I am greatly looking forward to this journey with him and with the LPG industry," comments Frédéric Gaussen.

"Working with gas distributors and retail partners on effective marketing to the end consumer will give Ragasco the visibility needed to win new customer groups and to maintain our existing customers' preference for Ragasco's LPG containers. I look forward to taking on this job and to help strengthen Ragasco's position and brand in the market," says Stål Heggelund.

"The strengthening of the sales and marketing organization with these key positions is a part of Ragasco strategy to increase its market share globally. With our LPG container's unique product advantages for both gas distributors and end users, today's global market share of 1% has a strong potential. Increased global presence and further focus on marketing, is the key to ensure a continued growth," says Øyvind Hamre, Managing Director of Ragasco.
