Hexagon aquires metrology distributor in Thailand

Hexagon AB has acquired assets with respect to measurement technology from the company Thaimach Sales & Service Co., Ltd., which is Hexagon Metrology’s largest distributor of coordinate measuring machines in Thailand today. A new company, Hexagon Measurement Technologies Thailand, is established as of 1 September 2006 based in Bangkok. ”Hexagon Metrology’s sales of metrology products in Thailand amount to approximately 3 MUSD. Our new subsidiary will continue to positively develop Hexagon’s operations at this fast growing market”, says Ola Rollén, CEO and President of Hexagon.
