Hexagon prepares listing of Hexagon Polymers

Hexagon’s Board of Directors has decided to propose its shareholders a separate listing of the business area Hexagon Polymers on The Nordic Exchange. The listing is planned for the first half of 2008.

Over the years Polymers has transformed from a local Nordic player to a fast-growing group of companies with production facilities across four continents. Polymers is today the world-leader for speciality rubber compounds and gaskets for plate heat exchangers and also one of the leading players in the global market for plastic and rubber wheels.

“The motive for a separate listing is that Polymers has achieved a size and profitability that makes the business attractive on its own merits. A separate listing will enable Polymers to continue to grow aggressively through new establishments and acquisitions”, says Ola Rollén, CEO and President of Hexagon AB.
