Acta Holding ASA - Country manager Denmark appointed
Acta has appointed Peter Egholm Jensen to head its Danish operations. He joins Acta from Dexia Bank Danmark A/S and has broad experience from management positions in the financial sector.
Acta has announced that the company will start operations in Denmark. Acta launched its business in 1990. The first advisory office was established in Stavanger and today a nationwide office network has been built. Acta`s Swedish operations commenced with the opening of the first advisory office in Stockholm February 2000. The Swedish network is today larger than the corresponding Norwegian measured by the number of offices and the number of advisors. Acta has announced that the company will start operations in Denmark.
Egholm Jensen is 41 years old and joins Acta from Dexia Bank Danmark A/S where he has been head of wealth management services/private banking. He has experience from various management positions in Artesia Banking Corp., Spar Bank Nord, Danske Bank and BG Bank. Egholm Jensen has a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, (HD) Finance and Credit from Copenhagen Business School.
`We have looked for the right person to head our Danish operations for a long time and are very pleased with the choice we now have made. Egholm Jensen will, supported by Acta`s central functions, be given a large degree of freedom to build the organisation and form the strategy and we are confident that his experience gives us a good foundation for entering the Danish market, says Simen Mørdre, CEO of Acta Holding ASA.
The start-up of an office in Copenhagen is subject to regulatory processes and available office locations. `Egholm Jensen will start up in his new position on September 1 2006 at the latest and we target to start operations in Denmark in fourth quarter 2006`, Mørdre concludes.
