Acta has during the last year experienced a demanding period with strong focus on regulatory, commercial and organizational matters. Most of these matters are now sorted out, and a plan for the new course for Acta going forward is settled. The strategy which was presented at the capital markets day the 24th of June remains firm, and Solberg is well qualified to carry out this process. There is a mutual agreement that a change in the management at this point in time is natural for the Group.

Geir Inge Solberg joined the Acta Group in 2000 as Managing Director in Acta Fondsforsikring ASA. In 2002 he was made responsible for products and investments at Acta Asset Management ASA, the same company where he recently became Managing Director. Before he joined Acta, he was Managing Director of Vital Fondsforsikring AS. He has had various executive positions in the banking and finance sector. Solberg is a business economist with an MSc degree (siviløkonom) from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).

Mørdre has been the CEO since 2005. Before Mørdre joined Acta, he worked as a partner in the consultancy company Korn/Ferry International. Prior to this he held a various executive positions in the DnB Group and in the Orkla Group.

- I have experienced four eventful years in Acta with competent and energetic co-workers. One rarely sees that much vitality and optimism in an organisation as in Acta. I am proud of what we have achieved together. The last year has been tough for me and my colleagues. A new course is now set for Acta, and it is now the right time to hand over the responsibility for the implementation to Solberg.
