Regarding the case involving more than 400 dissatisfied investors in Lehman Brothers bonds, investors have filed lawsuits, which were received by Acta Kapitalforvaltning this afternoon, against the Swedish bank that was arranger and Acta Kapitalforvaltning. More than 400 lawsuits are expected from these investors.

The investors claim that they are not obliged to repay the loans to the bank. If this proves unsuccessful they will turn to Acta Kapitalforvaltning, which was their financial advisor. Acta Kapitalforvaltning considers the risk of such lawsuits to be relatively limited as the company is only responsible for the provision of advice, and this was given on an individual basis. This assessment is also supported by the fact that in all decisions regarding this case, the Swedish National Board for Consumer Complaints (ARN) has found that Acta Kapitalforvaltning is not liable to pay compensation to its clients. Acta Kapitalforvaltning expects that the  courts will reach the same conclusion as ARN.
