Acta has hired Arturo Arques as the new Country Manager in Sweden. Previous Country Manager, Mathias Andersson, will now focus on more operative tasks, and returns to his old position as Director of Sales for Acta's operations in Sweden.

Arturo Arques is 45 years old, and leaves the position as Head of Private Banking & Asset Management and as a member of the group management in Nordnet AB. He has previously held several leading positions within bank and finance in SEB Enskilda Banken, Enskilda Securities and Handelsbanken Markets. Arques has a degree in business administration from the University of Stockholm and a degree in pedagogics from the Teachers' college in Stockholm.

- Mathias Andersson has lead Acta's Swedish operations in a very turbulent period of time, and we thank him for his contribution, and is content he will stay with us going forward, says CEO Geir Inge Solberg.

- We have spent over a year building the new Acta, and have now reached a point where it is natural for a succession in Sweden. Acta is very satisfied to have Arturo Arques joining us. Arques has broad knowledge and has achieved excellent results within several areas. With 25 years of experience from the Swedish finance industry, he is the right person to lead Acta's Swedish organisation towards improved reputation, profitability and growth, says Solberg.

Arques assumes his position as Country Manager no later than February 6 2011.
