Reference is made to the stock exchange notice of December 5th 2007 and the general turbulence in the financial markets lately. On this background, the Board of directors in Acta Holding ASA has decided to update the market on Acta's financial and operational development.

 

Based on preliminary reporting, Acta now expects gross subscriptions for the fourth quarter 2007 to be above NOK 9 billion (+60 %) bringing the year as a whole to approximately NOK 26 billion (+26 %). In 2006 the figures were NOK 5.6 and NOK 20.5 billion respectively.

 

Acta expects its operating earnings for the fourth quarter of 2007 to be approximately NOK 350 million (+- NOK 10 million), up 41 percent compared to the same quarter in 2006 (NOK 248 million). For the year as a whole, operating earnings total approximately NOK 1,050 million compared to NOK 919 million for the financial year 2006 (+14 %).

 

As previously announced the company will present the Q4 financial results and preliminary 2007 figures on February the 12th 2008.
