Energy company Bjäre Kraft signs agreement with Thalamus Networks The Swedish energy company Bjäre Kraft has signed a three-year-agreement with broadband company Thalamus Networks. Thalamus will deliver broadband Internet and cable TV, and will also build a wide area network and connect it with Thalamus' net. The agreement is worth at least 7,4 MSEK. In addition to this, Thalamus will also operate the installation. Bjäre Kraft has provided energy services to inhabitants of Bjärehalvön, southwest of Sweden, for thirty years. During the last year, the company has been connecting the localities of Bjärehalvön with optofiber, while at the same time installing cables for electricity and pipes for nature gas. "When we connect Thalamus' net to Bjäre Kraft's net, all the inhabitants and companies in the town of Båstad will get access to Thalamus' broadband services." Bjäre Kraft is the second energy company which has taken the challenge to, together with Thalamus, connect Sweden to high quality and safe broadband services. "Thalamus is known locally and has a good reputation, which implies that this agreement will have a positive impact on the town of Båstad."
