Thalamus hires Upright to create a unique customer support system Thalamus Networks hires Upright Technology to develop a new customer support system. The system will handle the household and landlord subscription registration and the configuration of net elements. The new system will collect all customer information and communicate with other connected systems within the company, i.e. the finance system, Internet portals and e-commerce platforms. The system should be operational in spring 2001. "This Customer Support System is a unique tool for Thalamus," explains P-O Andersson, Chief for the Thalamus Networks Technical Development. "We have not found a comparable system being used by our competitors neither in Sweden nor Europe." The system is built on a modern multifaceted component-based technique with an open interface to all other systems.
