Thalamus Networks' Semiannual Report January 1 - June 30, 2000 * Net sales rose, from SEK 9,972 thousand to SEK 15,529 thousand, representing an increase of 56% year-on-year. * First delivery of a local broadband portal was completed. * Efforts to fortify the brand and broadband portal continued. * Shares were quoted on the Nya Marknaden list in July, an application was submitted to move to the OM Stockholm Exchange's O list. The Company has made substantial investments in marketing, the stock exchange listing, investment in technology, and building up the organization, which has given good response. The market for the Company's main business developed favorably, particularly in the Internet segment. In a telemarketing campaign conducted by the Company during the spring, the Company found keen interest throughout Sweden on the part of large housing cooperations owned by municipalities as well as individual property owners. During the first half, the Company has put special efforts into product development. One project was to develop www.thalamus.nu, one of the first localized broad band portals in Europe. An e-commerce platform intended for users' purchase of on-demand services in the portal, will be completed by the end of the year. The telephony trials started in April with good results and the service will be launched in the third quarter.
