Highlights for Children, Inc. Introduces Let’s Grow
New monthly series helps parents and babies celebrate everyday joys
For parents, everyday moments spent with their babies—whether strolling through the park, splashing in the bath tub or sharing a story at bedtime—are times to treasure. Today, Highlights for Children, the leading family media brand and publisher of the most-read children’s magazines in North America, announces the launch of Highlights Let’s Grow, a unique series created to help parents celebrate the joys of everyday life with baby.
Designed by child development experts for babies ages 0 to 2, each monthly shipment of Let’s Grow is focused on a teachable moment in baby’s day such as eating, playing, exploring, bathing, sleeping, reading or discovering. Parents receive a box, delivered right to their door, filled with two beautifully illustrated books created with babies’ developmental needs in mind, plus a special surprise that is integral to the themed experience and an eight-page parent guide with insight and suggestions of engaging and enriching ways for moms and dads to celebrate a particular everyday joy of babyhood.

The Let’s Grow series is developed by the creators of the award-winning Highlights High Five magazine for preschoolers and Highlights Hello magazine for babies and toddlers. - Let’s Discover: Featuring the beloved Highlights character Spot the puppy, the Let’s Discover package celebrates baby’s first interactions with people, from greetings to games. The Hello, Spot! book has a mirror on the last page so baby can see—and learn to recognize—his or her own face. Peekaboo, Spot! has a page with a slot to insert a photo of baby so he can play peekaboo with someone very special—himself! The keepsake is an adorable Spot plush toy.
- Let’s Read: The Let’s Read shipment celebrates the joy of shared story time. In I Have a Book, Mama Cat and her son uncover the delights found in books—ABCs, colors, shapes, rhymes, favorite characters and more. The Sound I Love Best is about listening to and enjoying sounds all around us: a kitten’s purr, a pinwheel’s whirr, the drip-drip drum of rain, the humming of a plane. The keepsake is a high-quality tote, perfectly sized for taking Let’s Grow books on the go.
- Let’s Take a Bath: The Let’s Take a Bath bundle celebrates the fun of bath time. Adventures abound in Little Frog’s Bubble Trouble as Little Frog joins baby in a bathtub full of toys and too many bubbles. Boats Afloat follows Papa Bear and Baby Bear as they set sail in this ode to boats big and small. The keepsake is a Little Frog washcloth puppet.
