HiQ and Parabell develop mobile services for Speedy Tomato's portal HiQ and Parabell have been commissioned by Speedy Tomato to set up its development department, which will focus on developing mobile services. Speedy Tomato is a pan-European, operator-neutral mobile portal offering personalised services such as e-mail and news via the web, WAP, SMS and PDA. Speedy Tomato is a wholly owned subsidiary of Telia and the portal is currently open in Denmark and the UK. "We have chosen to work with suppliers who specialise in mobile solutions so that we can capitalise on the expertise within the field of mobility that has accumulated within Scandinavia," says Anne Liljeroth, Chief Information Officer at Speedy Tomato. HiQ and Parabell will be working together on the development of new mobile services for Speedy Tomato.
