HiQ continues successful partnership with Flash Engineering

HiQ and team champions Flash Engineering, run by the legendary team owner and two-time Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) champion Jan “Flash” Nilsson, are to continue their successful partnership. For the 2009 season HiQ is industry-exclusive partner to Flash Engineering – Sweden’s most successful racing team, which won the 2008 STCC.

“Our partnership with Flash Engineering in 2008 was a success – both in sporting terms, with victory in the STCC, and internally for HiQ, which held successful events on the theme of safe driving. HiQ’s sponsorships must have a clear link with our business and values. Flash Engineering represents speed, high technology, team spirit and a strong will to win – important values for HiQ as a company. Within the framework of the partnership we will continue to tailor events such as the “HiQ Safety Driving Clinic”. In addition, I am looking forward to more victories by Team Flash Engineering during the 2009 season,” says Lars Stugemo, President and CEO of HiQ.

As part of the partnership HiQ logos will be visible on Flash Engineering’s cars in the STCC, as the team’s industry-exclusive partner. The team is entering two cars in the STCC, driven by Jan “Flash” Nilsson and a new driver. In the Carrera Cup Scandinavia the driver will be Prince Carl Philip.
