HiQ CREATES MOBILE APP FOR FOOTBALL PLAYERS ASSOCIATION
HiQ creates a mobile application for the Football Players’ Association of Finland (FPA), supporting the protection of FPA’s members’ interests and preventing irregularities in the league. HiQ has overall responsibility for the project.
The FPA has worked with improving the playing conditions and protecting the interests of Finland’s professional football players for more than 20 years. The association helps players in matters concerning their contracts and salaries as well as improves their legal position and overall working conditions.
“HiQ understood completely the special nature of our needs and delivered the project professionally from beginning to end. We are very pleased with the end result”, says Markus Juhola, Executive Manager at FPA.
“The application will play an important part in the safety net when ensuring our members’ well-being”, Juhola continues.
The mobile lifestyle has changed the way we communicate and interact. It has also developed the world of sports in several ways. HiQ has created many sports related apps, such as Matchmode for the Swedish football league, World Cup Levi for the alpine skiing World Cup premiere in Finland, and the official app for the European Athletics Indoor Championships 2013. The new FPA app is yet another token of HiQs strong position within mobile solutions.
“FPA’s new mobile service is a great example of how modern technology can be utilized to truly serve the well-being of people. We are very glad to be able to be part of this exceptional project”, says Jukka Rautio, Managing Director of HiQ Finland.
