HiQ doubles pre-tax profit
HiQ doubles pre-tax profit HiQ has demonstrated strong profitability and growth in the first quarter 2004. Net sales increases by SEK 7.5 million to SEK 113.3 (105.7) million. Profit before goodwill (EBITA) increases by SEK 3.0 million to SEK 11.5 (8.5) million. Pre-tax profit increases by SEK 3.6 million to SEK 7.2 (3.6) million. The operating margin before goodwill is 10.2 % (8.1). The Board has proposed a dividend of SEK 0.45 per share to the AGM, totalling approx. SEK 21 million. "2004 has started well for HiQ. We have doubled our pre-tax profit and are growing, I am pleased with that," says Lars Stugemo, President of HiQ International. HiQ has won business in all its market segments and regions during the quarter. The market has continued to develop positively and we are recruiting in several regions. "The balance between supply and demand is continually improving. The stabilisation of the market that we saw in 2003 is continuing, with HiQ gaining market share. Customers are choosing to work with suppliers with good references and financial stability, we consider that a good thing," says Stugemo.
