HiQ enhances Multikabel's customer care and billing system in the Netherlands HiQ enhances Multikabel's customer care and billing system in the Netherlands The Nordic IT and management consultancy HiQ is extending and enhancing the customer care and billing system (CCB) for the Dutch cable and multi service provider NV Multikabel. Multikabel has a cable network offering analogue cable television services to 310.000 households in the Northern part of the Netherlands. The same network is used by Multikabel to offer Digital Television, IP telephony and Broadband Internet. The project includes the integration of the CCB system with the production platform of the cable TV, implementation of new business and invoicing rules and migration of existing cable TV customer data. - HiQ Softplan has worked with Multikabel since 1999. The work started with the adaptation, migration and localization of a Finnish customer care and billing system for the Dutch environment. Since then we have worked together with many new products like digital TV, Voice over IP and virus protection, says Mr Pekka Neva, MD HiQ Softplan. The extension project provides a single customer view for the complete product range. Combined with the integration of the cable production platform to the CCB, Multikabel is able to offer the customer real-time service provisioning and full customer support for all their products.
