HiQ HELPS THE CITY OF VÄSTERÅS TO IMPROVE ITS COMMUNICATION

HiQ helps the city of Västerås to simplify and improve the contact with both citizens and visitors, by creating a new version of the main channel for communication; www.vasteras.se.

“We are happy to launch a new platform that is both good-looking, fast and user-friendly. It works on all devices and will be of great use for our citizens and for everyone visiting Västerås. The new solution also simplifies for those who work with the website. We’ve had a good collaboration with HiQ throughout the project,” says Mats Lindskog, acting Director of Communications at the city of Västerås.

Vasteras.se contains large amounts of public information concerning everything from schools and recreational facilities to building permits and traffic regulations. Information that in various ways influences all citizens in Västerås and therefore needs to be easily accessible.

“We’re very proud of this confidence. It has been an exciting project and the end result simplifies for all of us who live here. A municipality has a huge quantity of information that needs to be public, and with large amounts of content, usability and simplicity is especially important. This project is yet another example of how we at HiQ are constantly broadening and increasing our digital business. A development which means that we continue recruiting new talent,” says Anders Nilsson at HiQ.
