HiQ manages a project to develop the Telia MaNet city network service HiQ has managed a project to develop Telia's city network service, Telia MaNet, which is one of the services in the city network concept, Telia CityConnect. The service is aimed at local authorities/city network owners. "HiQ has had overall responsibility for Telia MaNet, taking care of everything from market analysis and productisation to contract management and marketing plans," says Patrik Boman, Managing Director of HiQ Stockholm. Telia MaNet is an open network platform for city network owners with their own fiberoptic network. Telia designs, installs, operates and maintains the Telia MaNet platform in the form of a package solution. This allows the local authority to focus on which services to offer local residents in the city network. "Telia MaNet is an exciting and flexible city network platform that allows the customer to choose which Internet operators and service suppliers to connect to the network. The service represents a new approach in which the customer's needs are in the spotlight and where customers can own their own fiberoptic network infrastructure," says Boman.
